I currently live in Senatobia, Ms with my wife Celester. We raised ten beautiful children who are now all grown up with families of their own. I’m a graduate of the University of Mississippi with a master degree in counseling. I enjoy reading, helping others and entrepreneurial ship. In 1986 I was the first national scholarship winner representing the great state of Mississippi’s NFB state affiliate. Recently during our 2007 state convention I was elected as a state board member for the NFB of Ms.

The Tate County school system had been my employer for about 10 years until I retired. During that time I was a counselor at the alternative school where I worked with students in the Tate County school district grades K-12. Recently I decided to start my own business. Currently there are a few projects I’m working on and hope to have one of my projects open for business soon.

The NFBM is a 501(c)(3) organization. We are registered with the Mississippi Secretary of State for the purpose of soliciting funds as a non-profit organization. All of our officers are non-salaried individuals.

All tax deductible contributions should be made payable to the National Federation of the Blind of Mississippi. (NFBM) and mailed to P.O. Box 1515, Jackson, MS 39215-1515.
