Mrs. Eileen Hemphill RichardsonSecretaryMrs. Eileen Hemphill Richardson is a native Mississippian; born in Montgomery County, at Kilmichael Community Hospital, Kilmichael, Ms. She is the seventh of ten children (4 girls and 6 boys) all proudly reared in Duck Hill, Ms on a small family farm. Her family were all members of Young’s Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, began by one of her great grandfathers down in Duck Hill. Her immediate family now attends New Life Christian Fellowship Church in Grenada, where she is rearing her children. She was married to her husband, Willie Richardson for 33 years. He recently died on March 1, 2007. They had four children, Bryan, Shelton, Wesley and Iola. Her son Shelton is married to Kia, so she also has one daughter-in-law. Iola is a visually impaired student at the Mississippi School for the Blind in Jackson, Mississippi. Mrs. Richardson attended high school in Duck Hill and graduated in 1972. She then went on to Jackson State University in Jackson, Mississippi and graduated from there in 1975 and later went to Southern University, Baton Rouge, Louisiana graduating in 1978. Mrs. Richardson is employed with Johnson & Johnson of Grenada and is the Church Administrator for New Life Christian Fellowship Church. Mrs. Richardson is the Secretary of the Grenada Chapter of the NFB of Ms. She and her special daughter, Iola have been members since its inception in August, 2005 |
