Tim Hartley

2nd Board Member

Born at Hardy Wilson Hospital in December of 1957 in Hazlehurst, Mississippi Mr. Tim Hartley has lived in Wesson, Mississippi for most of his life. His parents, and 3 siblings (2 brothers and 1 sister) all still reside in Wesson as well.

In 1999 Mr. Hartley went to work for Royal Maid, which is now L.C. Industries, located in Hazlehurst. While he was there he started as an assembler and worked his way up to a supervisor. He retired from there in 2001. Mr. Hartley now works for the Daily Reader Newspaper. He’s been employed with them for 5 years. During his free time Mr. Hartley enjoys visiting with family and friends, watching TV and going to the casinos.

Mr. Hartley learned about the National Federation of the Blind from two friends of his in the early 1990’s. He later became a member of the NFB of Ms and the Hazlehurst Chapter. He currently holds the position of 2nd Board Member.

The NFBM is a 501(c)(3) organization. We are registered with the Mississippi Secretary of State for the purpose of soliciting funds as a non-profit organization. All of our officers are non-salaried individuals.

All tax deductible contributions should be made payable to the National Federation of the Blind of Mississippi. (NFBM) and mailed to P.O. Box 1515, Jackson, MS 39215-1515.
