My name is Robert Skillon and I was born in Crenshaw, Mississippi. I have 4 brothers and 1 son. I now reside in Tupelo, Ms. I’m a graduate of the Mississippi School For The Blind located in Jackson, Ms.. I’m employed at L.C. Industries For The Blind Workshop and have worked there for over 15 plus years. The company is in Tupelo, Ms

I have been a member of the National Federation of the Blind of Mississippi since 1991. The positions I’ve held since becoming a member of the NFB of Ms were President of the Tupelo Chapter and I currently hold the position of Board Member both on the local and state level.

I take the rights of blind people seriously because if we don’t stand up for our rights no one else will.

The NFBM is a 501(c)(3) organization. We are registered with the Mississippi Secretary of State for the purpose of soliciting funds as a non-profit organization. All of our officers are non-salaried individuals.

All tax deductible contributions should be made payable to the National Federation of the Blind of Mississippi. (NFBM) and mailed to P.O. Box 1515, Jackson, MS 39215-1515.
