To ensure that these rights are safeguarded, the City of Gulfport, Mississippi has adopted the policy of providing access to its programs and services in accordance with Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA).DRMS is the only disability defense agency in Mississippi with lawyers on staff seeking legal resources for people with disabilities. The Education for Persons with Disabilities Act (IDEA) (requires Adobe Reader) also protects the educational rights of residents who attend school at the center. This act ensures that people with disabilities have access to quality education.
